Hey man here are a couple links to guides to diagnosing plant problems. They both include pics and descriptions to help you out, and what to do to fix the problem.

But yeah, yellowing leaves mean probably a nitrogen deficiency, but fan leaves may yellow and die off if they're not getting any light too. I think that leaves yellow during flowering (as a result of the nitrogen being decreased during that period) but I couldn't tell you for sure because all of my plants get stolen before they make it that far.
