i think because stoners are more relaxed and prefer things unaltered, we prefer our ladies to be unaltered. i dont want to wonder whether they added somthing to get what im seeing. i want them, purley them and nothing else. i am officially anti make up because of this thread

I was wondering, if your lovely girl wasn't 'naturally beautiful', would she try to create some illusions with make-up? Or maybe she is so beautiful because she feels beautiful, and is perhaps free-thinking and unindoctrinated, which are beautiful qualities and are reflected on our faces, IMO, and...well, what came first, the beauty, or the foregoing make-up? You see my point/question? I'm nicely baked and trying to corral my thoughts...As a general rule, as a woman, I see that women that alter themselves the most--even if it's just with a lot of make-up, tend to be less comfortable in their own skin, perhaps have deeper neurosis due to media influence , etc., and so from a deep place they are trying to 'fit in', which demands some level of fakeness*, cuz this world is quite insane and if you try to fit the 'image', you exchange your wild/real self for the plastic version, to one degree or another. I'd appreciate hearing what anyone thinks...
*but ultimately I don't harsh on, or judge any of my sisters for their own choices--even though I wish they'd all rebel against the darned 'beauty industry' that does nothing but create eating disorders in 9 year olds and...sorry, that's another thread. Makes me mad though! :dance: Dance it out...

Same thread Azalea Bloomfield. This topic, as with most topics, overlap into other areas. Its quite hard to give real responses to some statements without talking of subjects that are related, even if the average person doesn't see the link. Crazy society is trained to split thing up and find no relevance between right and left... what I mean is we forget that right compliments left and that they are essentially part of the same being. Like media, models, anarexia, fast food, Giovani Versache or whoever are the same subject because the media can depict a model in designer clothes who won't eat nothin but 2 McNasty fries and looks anarexSICKYsicksick. There are few things more satisfying than feeling heard, and understood, and finding solidarity with others...that's how I feel in reading your response to my post, SpiritLevel :clap: . To believe that these seemingly unrelated 'trends' in our society are unrelated is to swallow the 'fake' propaganda that leads us to brainwashed lives of consumerism and conformity. So am I 'fake' cuz I made my hair pink and purple, the colors of my spirit? I'm the artist and the canvass and I do what I do to be true to myself, to express my deepest self for my own satisfaction and expansion of my deepest self...I think there's a difference in 'alterations' to one's physicality based on 'intention' as well. I don't know about you guys, but I have some girl friends who are stunning with or without makeup, its just a different look. Really I don't care if they wear makeup or not, I actually like the morning after look best of all. Well most of the time at least.
