I was talking to the wife last night, I asked her what she thought of all this stuff going on, FEMA building fenced encampments aimed at keeping something inside them, UN trucks being brought into this country, people claiming we will be in martial law after the next terrorist attack. Wire taps, searches and siezures, detainment without trial.

She says, well i dont kow the rules of martial law.

I say, well, there are no rules except do what we say, its control by the use of force.

She says that would be very sad, but I dont think it would ever happen.

I said, I am sure the Jews thought the same thing in Germany.

End of conversation.

I dont think the majority of the country is informed.

Put any questions as to why or who is doing this and look at the reality of the changes being made.

Ive seen videos of these camps they are speaking of, what their purpose is I cannot exactly say, but they do exist and they are set up to keep something inside them, since farm animals dont require razor wire on top of chain link, im guessing its people.

Ive seen pictures of UN vehicles on back of flat bed trucks being shipped thruoght the US, your guess is as good as mine as to what these are here for.

Wire taps, search and siezures, detainment without trial, all these things are already happening, and admitted to.

Do you like these changes?

Ignore why they are being made, its a mute topic, ignore who is ordering them, again its a mute topic.

Just look at the reality of these changes and tell me what you think of them.

I think it looks a whole lot like the begining of martial law, a planned one at that.

I think they are very dangerous changes, I think it puts me and my family at risk, not only with the threat of the implied, which is to be placed in a camp, or be detained without trial, or have my possesions searched and siezed at will.

But also economically, seeing as if this is turning into a police state, what jobs might be lost, either for me or my wife?

Just like everyone else we have bills to pay, children to feed.

What was the economy like in Germany?

Will banks take into consideration the loss of a job due to a police state?

My guess is no.

Whether it be by terrorists, or our own government, we, as americans are at risk, our way of life, our freedoms, are being threatened.

Again, ignore by whom, and why, just concentrate on the what.

Not to take it off topic, Bong30 but I hope that you aren't implying that women aren't knowledgeable about current events because we are too worried about "girly" things like makeup and pretty houses. But I know that's not what you meant cuz I know that no one with even the slightest bit of common sense would think that.

I too have seen the pics of the UN trucks and heard of the FEMA camps (though I haven't seen pics. u should post some links to info on these topics, MarlboroMan). I don't put anything past this gov't of ours. Anyone who believes that martial law could not be implemented in this country is high on something that I want no tokes of. People seem to either a.) forget b.) ignore or c.) have no clue of the things this country has done.

Well, I dont see how you can watch the shows you do and not question what our government is upto.

Just a cpl hours ago, I saw a show on the Science Channel called Megascience, this episode was about future weapons, one of which being mind control useing radio waves. GS will love that one.

There was this one sciencetist who was conducting experiments in Canada by hooking up a cpl of coils to this girls head and sending signals directly to the areas of the brain to stimulate opiates in her system, he flat out said the same can be done to invoke fear.

This was one guy in his basement it looked like, so there is no telling how far more advance our military might be with this sort of technology.

I dont like the federal reserve or the world bank Bong, they are just as much a part of this as our own GOV, I think you assume that we the people control the GOV tho, with those last 2 elections looking so tampered with, and diabold cranking out voteing machines, how much longer do you think we the people will have control over our GOV?

I dont tell my wife anything about politics, she has made it very clear she doesnt want to know, but I do encourage her to find out stuff for herself.

Most women worry about domestic issues, and I like to think my wife is up on all the stuff, I am but when we start talking she just know the surface issues.

Men are the protectors.... I study and find out what will harm my family and prepare my family for it...... (its called Division of Labor)

LOL I think the Kid would give a big F U to anyone stupid enough to walk around with their heads up their asses with no regard to whats going on in the world around them - 'whether they got balls or tits' (in my grittiest NY tone).

But honestly, it amazes me that people still have the idea that any particular group cares more about politics or world-issues, or anything to that effect. IGNORANCE IS BLISS FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE ALL ACROSS THE BOARD. I don't know if it comes from being from such a diverse place, but I've learned that stupidity knows no boundaries. So for every female that's too busy doing her hair to take the time out to watch the damn news, there's a guy who was too busy pumping iron or watching sports. Trust me. It's not about sex, or class, or race, or educational levels - if someone chooses not to give a damn, then they don't give a damn. And unfortunately for us, they're EVERYWHERE!!

And no, I didn't "put you in my sights cuz I'm left-leaning." Only 'cuz I wanted to share my views with you. BTW, can we stop putting so much stock in whether people lean right, left, or back? Who cares?? Let's worry more about having a strong, people-orientated gov't. I don't care if they're rep. or dem. or whatever

One more thing, I was in no way trying to attack your marriage. It sounds like a marriage of equals ("that is the way I like it and so does she"), and what, at least I think, marriage should be. But I understand where you're coming from. Alot of people forgot the meaning of feminism/women's rights - CHOICE. Yea, u can strap on a hard hat and boots and work the toughest "man's" job or u can be a homemaker. There's nothing wrong with either one long as it makes u happy.
