yeah, most people put rc lathe motors in them. They only go a few miles an hour but will crawl over anything

If you budget and ebay and hit up bulletin boards for parts you can be in a decent one for around three hundred. Better parts... more money. Mine was about $600 (all electronics, radio, charger etc...)
