Baby leaves?
Hey,
I am not sure I have a problem, but I wanted to make sure that this wasn't bad.
I have 2 seedlings sprouted from phenomenal bagseed growing in a small box that I created out of illustration board and reflective duct tape. They are growing in a ph balanced potting soil and are watered only when totally bone dry.
There is a small, inderect fan built into my rig and I'm using 2 26 watt cfls which have the lumens of 2 100 watt bulbs for now while their box is so small and plan on upgrading when they get a little bigger.
I'm about 3 weeks in and have found that the small rounded baby leaves on one plant have shriveled and turned yellow. Is that supposed to happen (I know that they fall off eventually) and if not what can anyone surmise is wrong?
Thanks for your help in advance.firemanjonnie Reviewed by firemanjonnie on . Baby leaves? Hey, I am not sure I have a problem, but I wanted to make sure that this wasn't bad. Baby leaves?
i concur.. completely normal
I actually have never grown cannabis, and since it is still stupidly illegal, I would NEVER EVER think of doing such a thing. All that I post here is complete fiction that I pulled out of my ass. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Baby leaves?
Thanks-- it's my first experience with this stuff, and they are still pretty tiny so I was really worried. Does this mean that its time to start using nutes?

I'd go light on the nutes at first, very light. The only serious probs I've ever had in veg were a result of overfertilization. Start very light, then if no probs, increase. I guess it depends on your soil too. I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and it seems like there are plenty enough nutes in that without adding anything else at all until you begin flowering.

So I did the nutes thing-- a less than 1% solution -- super weak. But the leaves on one plant are yellowing. I'm sure its too late to get out the nutes(its been like 2 days).
The lights were pretty close to try to avoid stretching-- Is it possible to get too much light out of a flourescent?
They only have a few leaves, is it true that if a leaf starts to yellow that the yellow parts will die? I've been checking the strains for hours but cant figure out whats wrong.
