WHITE WIDOW - IS IT CRAP

Hi Peeps, I hav just harvested some white widow from seed and from dutch passion company. I harvested 9 weeks into flowering and the buds looked white bud smelt crap. I hav hung them for 10 days, then wrapped individual buds in newspaper for 5 days in a cardboard box with extractor fan attached to it. The buds still dont taste very nice or smeel very good, but there is a strong smell on them, but not the sort we like to smell. I hav put them in glass jars now and i hav been opening the jars once a day for 10mins. Anyone hav a opinion on this would be appeciated? R they supposed to smell and taste crap until properly cured. I did chop all the stems up and boiled them for a hour in a pan, then sieved it into a cup, and added a teabag. After bout 1hr i was on whitey stage for bout 5hrs, neva buzzed so much for a good while, so i know there is thc on the plants.

that's the drawback to ww...the flavor. it's why most who do use it grow it as a mixed hybrid and not straight ww. there's really nothing you can do about the taste at this stage but it should however be very potent...

buzzing on boiled stems???

Great!! , i thought i'd b onto a winner aswell, now i gota change my mother plant for a nice weed. The stems definately worked, bout 2 plants worth, cut up to fit in the pan , just make sure u leave it in for over 45mins so the thc dissolves.

just to confirm then, other strains of weed, as soon as u harvest them, do they smell nice or do they get there smell after a month or 2 of curing. I always thought white widow was a decent strain, now i paid loads for 10 seeds and it turns out to taste horrible and smel crap, no point in growing ww then. Cheers for ur comments guys

master kush smells nice and pleasent till after its been curing for a few months, then BAM! you can smell it from a block away.

I'm totally mind fucked on this nice WW I got from a friend...I find it's fantastic! very very very potent indeed. I can't wait to see Team America blazed :P

duno how u lot can say white widow is shit, its so nice and full of crystalls i love the smell of it and i love the hit off it ! u may not have white widow may be just a strain developed off it who knows !

i get all my seeds from dutch passion, including white widow, several times..
my mate thinks white widow smells of cat piss but i love the smell i suppose its all down to personal taste.
