thanks for the comments guys. This is my first successful indoor grow. I tried once when i still lived with my parents but scratched the whole deal once i learned of the shit my parental units could get into because of my stupidity. I have grown outside for the past 2 years and have gotten some great results, especially 2 years ago when i magically got WW seeds from a good friend of mine. Funny thing was the seeds actually turned out to be heady heady nugs.

Yeah the cab still has a lot of work to be done. I just bought it so wasnt wasting light in my closet which was double the length then i was using, plus my clothes started smelling like sweet cheeba without me even smoking anything. That had to stop for sure. After this grow is completed (early-mid sept) i am going to work on the cab.

Silicon caulk every seam
flat white paint
install florescant tubes in the top part for vegging
install intake/outtake fans
get my DWC setup working again, install that into the cab
get a scrog screen in there for max yeild

I figure soon I am going to order some good seeds, but im not too sure which ones are good. I dont need anything totally failsafe, ive grown plants before and can figure shit out if anythign goes wrong. I was looking on drchronic and drgreenthumb and i see a lot of good seeds. I didnt really know which seedbank was the best though.....kinda liked dutch passion.

The two seed strains i chose were ak48 and white widow. I like crystals, heh.



Oh yeah ive been meaning to ask this. I know 140w of hps might be a little low but i bought them and im going to use them even if i get a 250w somewhere. My first question is.......is there any difference in how much light is being directed downward when the bulb itself is vertical or horizontal? My second question is this...........would it be safe to take apart the hps ballasts, and mount both lights electronics into a consolidated box of some kind. I only say this because the ballasts for those security lights are massive. I wanna engineer my own ballast and reflector and maybe get a mh bulb.

140 hps, 250 mh ........... good enough light for veg/flower?
