How to determine if weed is laced

what would be the motivation of a dealer to lace weed with:
1. somthing that could kill you (cant we all just get along?)
2. somthing that could trip you out or give you undesired effects (maybe to compensate for crappy weed?)

i really dont understand the motivation behind lacing bud in the first place (when it is done behind somones back)

The real question is: What would be the motivation of a dealer to lace weed with a drug that costs MORE than weed like meth or something to that effect?

And I'll tell you a sure way to know if your weed is laced: If you smoke it and see shit, don't sleep for a few days, or have a really different buzz than a good old cannabis buzz then you should know. Duh. :smokin:

Hey guys, I know this thread has probably been done thousands of times but I was wondering if there are anyways to tell if your weed is laced. I'm talking about harmful chemicals such as windex or bleech that may have been added. the only way i can think of is to get your hookup to smoke it with you. If he's hesitant or doesnt inhale then beat that mothafucka down and getcho money back. Let me know if there are any other chemical stratagies such as freezing or checking the colour of the smoke or whatever. Thankyou.

simple, whoever you get the connection through... ask him if the guy is trustworthy and if he's had any experience with the herb

Well aside from a few good answers the most of you don't how to read. I did NOT ask why would someone lace it I asked how you could tell. Captain hanks thanks for your response. I think my method is the best so far. Get your dealer to smoke it with you when you buy it. If he knows something has been added I guarantee you he won't smoke it. Anybody else?

Generally, If there is any type of unnatural smell, there may be reason to suspect. Now, that doesn't mean everything, because sometimes bud just smells kinda odd. There's even bud with a really strong Ammonia smell called "Cat Piss"! But even then, one can detect the subtle undercurrent of that piny, skunky sort of marijuana smell. Like Captain Hanks said, getting your dealer to smoke with you is a great way to tell as well.

Also, you can try to "hot knife" a little bit of the bud. If there's anything odd like it combusting quickly, sizzling, etc., then there may be reason for you to suspect that it could be laced.

That being said, the lacing of marijuana is very uncommon.

Uhhhh.... that wasn't what I asked. I asked how to tell if your weed is laced not what the motivation would be. Pay more attention in the future. Anybody else have any ways/techniques to determine if your weed is on drugs?

smell it, taste it (a wee bit), hell smoke it, but if anything is out of the norm, then put that shit away

Thanks platypus and Kryzco. I think the best/most simple way to find out is by using your senses. Sight- Check out the bud. Use a microscope. Sound- Hot knife it and listen for any unnatural sizzling. Smell- Does it smell chemically? or unnatural in anyway. Touch- Does it feel moist and wet? Taste- Pop a lil bud in yo mouth and examine the taste. Smoke- Smoke dat shit. Also, just by asking around, background checking your hookup is always a good thing. And make your dealer smoke dat shit. I know lacing weed is very uncommon but I've also heard that dealers add shit to the buds if they had problems growing and they came out rather weak. Thanks guys. What kinda sick bastard adds windex or bleach to the weed they
are selling? I have never came across any smoke with that shit
added to it I never even herd of that before. What would be the
purpose in doing that anyways? Looks like the smell would be the
first clue to knowing that bleach or windex is on the weed.

I've come across alot of people who have got windex in their shit. They spray the windex in to fuck you up more if the weed is shit quality or to make the bag heavier. A good friend of mine accidently bought windex shit and smoked it at school and puked all over the place and got suspended. There are some real sick bastards out there.

No offense, that just doesn't sound real. I mean, I know maybe it's happened once or twice, but I could not even imagine it happening more than maybe once a month in any given city. Maybe when dealing with harder drugs, but not with weed.

If anyone ever sold me a bad sack, I'd blackball him. Stoners know stoners, we're pretty damn good at networking and we've all pretty much met each other. All of a sudden, the guy's business would start dropping.
