That is referred to as 're-vegging'. It can be done. If your plant survives, you can veg it for a while, then flower it again, yes there's a possibility of turning hermie, and yes, you could end up with female seeds when you re-flower, or it could just croak, or you could just keep it in veg and take clones off it. Your choice. Use a little superthrive or thrivealive or even some transplant shock reducer (they all have vitamin B1-thiamine which will prevent your plant getting stressed). That's not a stupid question!!
