    Well you really should check out the 1962 "Lolita"! It??s a masterpiece!!

    But often Kubrick's movies are way off from the books. For example "2001", and "The Shinning". Stephen King hated Kubrick??s version of The Shinning even though it is also one of the greatest movies of all time. Stephen King, years later, made his own "made for TV" version of "The Shinning" with that guy from ??Wings? that was really, reallly bad... lol

    I have never been a Stephen King fan but Kubrick??s ??The Shinning? is one of the best all time movies.

    Requiem for a dream is in my opinion one of the best edited, and filmed movie ever... It's only good if you have surround sound with a good sub tho, it really makes a huge difference. The music in this movie plays into the emotion so much :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
