Choosing Indica/Sativa, or hybrid? What makes up, what?
Concerning making an informed choice when choosing Indica/Sativa, or hydrid?
I am starting this *thread... so we can all gain more knowledge on the subject of
Indica/Sativa, or Hybrid? Hopefully we can all contribute and learn from it. I know I am not very well versed on this subject. So, I am hoping to get a lot of contributions.
I think we all tend to start outwith the belief that we will get a bigger buzz from Indica. (just an off hand thought) I think we get caught up in the term, "a more medicinal effect/painkiller". I actually feel this transitions into a more hypnotic effect.
Experiencing a more intense effect (stoned)!...1/2 way through a piece of confirmed "Sativa" has brought me to the conclusion, that until you experience the effects of different strains and phenols, It is hard to describe how you will be effected after a smoke test. At least when you are choosing some beans for propagation...It is hard for you to truly know "what" you are going to experience, if you harvest anything at all...LOL
I think the confusion comes from the limited knowledge of what makes up what?
With all that said. I would really appreciate anyone with knowledge on this subject to step up and help us build a knowledge base for the "community" on this topic. what I am looking for is knowledge of the make-up of different so-called big name genetics. I know some of you old timers have some of this info stored in those 1/2 toasted brains of your yours...oooopsI'm one of those guy's
For instance: I would like to know the make-up of the following seed types.
Northern lights
AK-47
White Widow
C-99
Jack Herer...I know who "he" is, but I haven't been able to find out who?, or with what?; was
Jack Herer created?
California Orange
Great white Shark
Papaya
Skunk#1
Haze
NYCD...that's 11 types that I am real curious about. Feel free to add you own requests. Anyone?
Well, I hope you all take the time to respond, enjoy and learn from this thread. I would like to have a big enough response to keep this info around the top; As a growfaq or sticky...Thanks!
1st? What makes up, i.e. what was used to breed and was it sativa or indica, or a
hydrid of both? Anyone?
2nd? what was strains/phenols were used to breed the parents of a said genetic/seed? Anyone?
*I would've put this in strains/seeds, but I never get any response on topics like this. I felt that amongst the "growers", and not the "dreamers"...the topic might create more heat. thus having more longevity. peacelatewood Reviewed by latewood on . Choosing Indica/Sativa, or hybrid?
