Is there already any possible way we can find out a reason why a member was banned, and if not is there a way that you guys could create such a system? Seems like people are getting banned more here, which is fine by me crack the whip boys, but I think it would be nice for the public here to see their fellow members offenses. It seems fitting since people are creating threads to find out as to why the member was banned anyways.

There was a system in place but it was disabled for some tweaking.

The infraction system will allow us to post user notes in which everyone will be able to see the past infractions of the user.

Other than that.. it's not really any of your concern really.. most bans are very short...unless given other reasons to make it otherwise.

The infraction system will reduce the amount of immediate banning we have to do and will allow us to give warnings before the axe comes down...
The system should be back in place soon.

good answer BobB... Exactly, what he said, and I woulfd like to add; it is not a debatable issue, therefore as BB explained...It does not concern anyone else, but the admin team, and the user.

We are not going to advocate a format based on the foundation that there is anything further to be discussed on the issue of "why?" a member was banned.

Nothing personal. When a member get's banned it can be for several smaller infraction's, due to inappropriate behavior over a period of time. One day BAM!!! member takes one too many steps over the line...Vacation time.

Remember, We don't enjoy banning a member...We just do it. peace, latewood

This could really be applied to chisme's vacation.. it may have not been something directly out of line, but recent things and small things in the past have just compounded into a qualifying for a small vacation. Nothing personal..although it may seem it.We simply have a dedication to keeping the site free of certain things. Wether they be in the "guidelines" or not is not the issue. Those are simply the immediate things that are frowned apon here at cannabis.com
Vacations are attitude changers. You either take one or are given one. Both are completely optional. Chisme was given a vacation for getting a little to personal with the site, on different levels.Hopefully he'll understand as he IS a bright guy.
Just by simply respecting the authority of the site you practically unban yourself.

It's very case by case when we hand out a ban because frankly, we'd rather have a case at all.
