There really aren't many young people demonstrating these days. If you had the percentages that we had in the Vietnam era, maybe it would effect some changes. As long as the youth of today just sit around doing nothing, they will reap what they sow. I went to march in Washington to protest Nixon's inauguration, sat at tables in New York City getting petitions signed, and attened many rallies and other demonstrations

Get out there and do something about it if you don't like how things are - just writing and posting to these boards, or reading internet junk, isn't going to change anything.

It's no wonder those cops were laughing - this generation sends a LONE WOMAN out to the front lines! It's a disgrace. This NEVER would have happened with the boomers. You've got nobody to blame but yourselves.
