ez-clone straight to soil?????
hello, im sure this has been covered before but i couldnt find anything. my question is this, my buddy wants to get a mother plant off these clones but only has means to grow the mom in soil(no more buckets/airstones left), can he thake a rooted clone from a ez-clone machine and place it directly in soil? should the roots be washed of with room tempeture water or what? thanks!!

I'm guessing an easyclone machine is an aerocloner? Yes that will work to plant in soil, but if the roots get long in the aerocloner, you dont want to have all the roots "stuck" together while planting. Gently shake off the excess water and the individual branches of the root system should spread out somewhat. If the roots get REALLY long in the cloner, you may have to gently shake and "fluff up" the root system so that it spreads out in the soil when planting. Its not normally a prob unless the roots grow too long.

ez-clone straight to soil?????
Yeah Ive done what slow mentioned, and although I was sure I killed all the plants by doing so, after a week of nearly dying they took. Ive even transplanted some established plants into soil that were in an ebb & flow table and got root rot. A week of not much visual change, then over night perky as can be. After harvesting, there was a BEAUTIFUL root structure on all of them. No hermies either. However Ive got hermies transplanting from smaller to larger pot with soil before!
