How many plants?

I've got a pretty small box (32"x27"x16"). I put in four 42W cfl lamps putting out a total of 10,800 lumens and lined it with mylar. I even got a little computer fan going. I plan on trying three plants and LST them. But I was wondering if I went ahead and tried to put a total of six plants, each in its own 8" pot, would the lumen total be enough to sustain them or would having more plants draw more energy away from the other plants. I really don't plan on doing more than three cause it would be a jungly mess even if it worked and I'm thinking the overall bud total would be less, but I'm wondering about that sustainability thing. Does anyone know?

Dude, how do you get a computer fan working in there? Do you use a computer power supply?

Look at previous post for 'Ventilation'. A guy explained exactly how do do it. I had an old 11 volt transformer from an old cell phone. I bought a computer fan for $6. The fan is supposed to have 12v but the transformer works just fine with it. Cut some holes. And voila.

I believe the rule of thumb for CFL is 50W Sq Foot. Or 3000 lummes Sq foot preferable 5000

start with the 6 plants then atleast you have better odds of females at most your going to take atleast 3 plants out after you sex them.

keep those lights as close as possible good rule of thumb is hold your hand as close to the light and if you dont get hot or burned neither will the plant

you should have enough light for the complete grow look into LST training its almost a must for CFL lights
