Intro

Hey everybody,
Figured I'd introduce myself to everybody. Happened to find the board a while back and saw there seemed to be alot of cool people on it. I'm a recent college grad, moved down to the DFW area to get a job. Getting a place of my own and hopefully make some kind friends . I went to college up in the northeast and had some good BC strains :smokin:, though I've heard there is some good shizznit in the area. Anyways, anybody wanting to meet up and chill, I'm up for it. Gimme a ring!

It'll take you awhile to get used to heat here. I've been in the metroplex for about 25 years, and I'm ALMOST used to how hot it gets...

I'm guessing that you're in your early to mid-20's. You should be able to meet some really good people on here. There are quite a few very nice folks to get to know.

Hey, as long as you're cool, I have no problem with age. I'm basically looking to be in the tech industry. I just found out I got approved for a job in the area yesterday, just waiting for the offer package from them. Start that soon and be getting the $$ .

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm really looking forward to it, should be a good job. This heat is killer though. I grew up in SA and I don't recall the heat being this bad. And yeah, I'm 23, soon to be 24. Man time flies by. And yeah, I hope I can meet some chill people off here.

do you have someone your getting from right now or are you in the market? i got 1/4 of dro for about 40$ from my dealer, but the more you by the price goes down. hes offered me 150$ an oz for the same stuff. he was trying to get rid of his stuff for some reason. dont know if there are alot of good strains in the lewisville area, where i am, but ive heard blueberry, and strawberry fields in Arlington. dont know the prices on that stuff. but it shouldnt be too hard to acquire some good stuff around here.

i know its tempting, but hold out on puting pot in your computers.haha. my friend did that once, and started a fire.

Nice to meet ya fanclerks! Excuse my insanity the last couple of days, I think the electro-shock treatment is finally starting to work.

I'm also in the DF/W area, a spit away from DFW. I just moved here in Feburary with the job and everything has been great. Wonderful people, nice weather (IMO), and a good selection of things to do. Smokewise, there is some good stuff out there in the 'Plex and surronding areas.

I thought I saw you mention something about looking for a job in the tech industry. What areas are you focused in? I work for a telco and we're usually hiring (or firing) at one point or another. I don't have any connections or anything like that, but can at least guide you through the most efficient process. Let me know what you're interested in and I can see what's available. We have offices all over DF/W. My commute is 10 minutes! It's great!

Thanks for the well wishes. I keep hearing about the quality of the smokes in the area, can't wait to try some. As for the job issue, I've finally got a job offer and will be starting soon. Thanks for the offer though. Right now I'm dealing with systems but went to school for networks and hope to work my way towards there. As for keeping in touch, I'll try to be as active on the boards as I can be.

none taken. i guess it may sound farfetched to some, but i have several hookups. the one mentioned above is college guy i know from a while back. ive known him 8 years, so he gives me good prices. (havent been buying for 8, just to clear it up )
