Please keep in mind that what I am refering to is one specific instance, Gumby's so called attack wasnt made towards Bong it was made towards you. There is no need for me to aknowledge the "lefts" attacks seeing as you are doing a fine job of moderating them yourself.

You know as well as I do that I respect others opinions, and yours are no exception. But allow me to ask some questions about your opinion, for clarification reasons.

Do you label everyone who chooses to confront you a "stalker"?

Would calling me a "stalker" constitute a personal attack?

Would calling my opinion "crap" constitute a personal attack?

Would you deem your overall post to be "snide" in nature?

Personally I think your comments fall shy of "snide", but then again my perspective is a bit askew as the snide level in the politics sections is rather high. I do however find your comments to border on sarcasm and anger. But that is just my opinion.

I do deem your comments as a threat, I have made no personal attacks on you, altho my grill comment may be worded poorly, its meaning was to confront you in the matter of banning someone for questioning your authority. I apologize for the poor communication. And in the light of Latewood's comments just above your final statement in the thread you closed, this matter was over for me.

On the subject of questioning your authority, I dont remember seeing that written as a bannable offense.

Isnt that what I am actually doing here, in this very post, questioning your authority?

Telling me "POLITICS STAYS IN POLITICS" and then threatining me, that if I further discuss the internal politics within this section, I'll be banned, is rather confuseing to me. It seems those statements contradict eachother.

Would you please clarify your statement?

I also understand that my insistance in questioning your authority will result in me being banned, as this is the history of such matters.

Well, since my previuos questions have gone unaknowledged, I really dont have much to say.

But I do have a question as to your latest statement.

What does ".........." mean?

Is this another threat?

Am I to understand that if I continue to question your authority I'll be banned?

This is the logical conclusion, and it is the history I understand, I am just merely looking for clarification.

We need as many of those as we can get. And I worry that you're intentionally trying to further aggravate this situation and will end up getting banned, which seems to be what you're almost daring them to do.

Is my concern justified? And are you sure the inequity here that you've been protesting for the last couple of days is the only thing that's bothering you? I've seen what seems like some unfair stuff happen here at times, including in recent days, but I learned a long time ago that life isn't fair.

It is not my intention to get banned, however my intentions are is to stand up to someone who seems to be threatening me.

It my opinion that P4B is useing bully tactics.

I think he does not like what I have to say, I am questioning his authority, and he is trying to use force to prove his point, rather than reason.

I am not a big fan of this, as you may already know.

I am not trying to get banned, but should I simply walk away, it validates his bully tactics, and I cant accept that.

All the questions I have asked in this thread are reasonable questions, and in no way are my comments personal attacks, or disrespectful in nature. Yet they seem only be be met with more threats.

I am fine on the personal front BG but thank you for your concern, being threatened is bothersome to me.

Altho at first, it was about Gumby, I came to understand that more than one MOD was seeking to take issue with him for comments he has made elsewhere, and defending him is not in my best interest.
I have already aknowledged that to Latewood in another thread.

But this thread, is about defending myself, as I am the one being threatened, which I fully intend on doing, rationally, logically, reasonably, and respectfully.

I believe there is always a reasonable compromise that can be reached in any dispute, I hope to find that compromise.

I hope Psyco4bud will do the same.

This is true and this has really gone on to far so I'll tell ya what I'm working on right now. I really didn't feel the need to inform everyone of this but..........

One of 3 things:

1) Full moderation in here:
No more flaming at all
No more sites in signatures (including prison planet) that sell ANY product/service/etc...
Pictures that one may find offensive will be NUKED immediately

This option is NOT my choice but is being considered. My own feelings are that this type of moderation will only turn this forum into a wasteland and because of that I WON'T be the one doing it! If people think that the psychotropics forum closing was a war, try censorship in politics. There's enough in here to do.......I'll leave that to someone else.

2) Another MOD:
I'm pushing for a moderator to be assigned that represents the so called left in here. This isn't to tame my ass at all so don't think that.....this is someone to call out on the right side of the fence. IF I've been ignoring that, it sure wasn't intentional. Myth just got back from a 30 day.....isn't he to the right of the proverbial fence? The fact of me being from the right of the fence was something I brought up before becomming a MOD and the feelings were that people would have to live with it. NOT my words!

3) Stays Status Quo:
This must mean that management feels what I do here is fine and feels that I can put out these fires....one way or another.

If this isn't enough........I REALLY don't know what to tell ya. I'm done playing this crap in here though. Gumby was on a mission, he got what he wanted, now he can wait for another 28. I had similar problems with Great Spirit and now there is no problem. I don't agree with most of what he says but thats HIS right! Me and eg had probs.....no more prob there either. But BOTH are here posting so I'd appreciate you laying off this crap that I kick the opposition off the board in order to savor the rights views.

This would be my choice, altho I personally would prefer another MOD that represents the middle versus the left or the right.

That would at least be an improvement, and until some reasonable rules are in place, this isn't a board any sane, reasonable person can really participate in. It has gotten so bad in here that I noticed one of the best folks in the world, Big Calhoun, just said sayonara to this whole community in another thread, citing the negativity in politics as his reason. Others will surely follow if they haven't already. Advertisers will, too.

I just replied to that one in the Texas Local forum...his leaving was due to not being able to talk about MOM. NOTHING to do with the politics forum.

Also, in all fairness, on a political party quiz the person that I nominated for MOD probably falls just a bit left of Libertarian. When I take that test, I fall just right from center...BELIEVE IT, OR NOT...lol
