I was born like that. Needing braces or fixing of the teeth runs in the family, unfortunatly.

I had a huge overbite, my 1 front tooth was turning sideways, and all my teeth were out of wack, so for 10yrs, my parents were nice enough to give me braces and I'm glad I got them. A smile can make the prettiest face turn into the most frightening thing you've ever seen.

My teeth were and are still fucked lol. My two front teeth used to make a literal V in my mouth, and then all my teeth went down hill with 'em. I had braces for a total of 5 years and all that other fun shit, but I said fuck retainers and now my teeth are slooowwwllly moving back to funkiness.

You guys had it the easy way. I had to wear braces for 10yrs to fix up my mouth.

Me too...I had braces, retainers, the whole bit....As a matter of fact, I had it so bad that all my baby teeth had to pulled (not at the same time of course) because they wouldn't fall out by themselves and then some of my adult teeth wouldn't come in so they attached a chain around the roots and had to pull them up! GROSS! I am glad that part of my life is over with!!!

has anyone had any experience with that invisalign product? i'd like to have perfectly straight teeth but since i'm 21 i don't want to have adult braces. my teeth aren't that bad either, but super straight teeth would be nice.

Holy shit! That sounds harsh man. My mouth wasn't that bad, but I had to wear retainers, go to the doc. every week to have everything tightened. By the time my mouth stopped hurting, I had to go back just for my mouth to hurt again.

I had to wear this one retainer, where these 2, plastic things hung down, and fit into proper place when my mouth closed. It was to bring my jaw forward. It was very painful at first because I'd get blisters inside my mouth from the 2 plastic things rubbing on my skin in my mouth.

But damn, yous sounds harsh man! My mouth was just sore from all the tightening, but you had chains and shit in your mouth. I feel for ya there.

Lets just be glad we never have to go through that shit again. Although to this day, I still have a perm. cemented lower brace in my mouth. It goes in behind my lower front teeth so you can't see it, but, it's still there, and will always be there, unless I want my mouth to fuck up again...which I DON'T!

After i got my braces off i got invisalign as my retainers, they work great! If i had the money in the first place just to get invisalign i definatly would have you can barely notice when they are on.
