it'll only work with a metal or glass pipe, i smoke a long wooden marrocan hash pipe with a marbel head. the pipe would be distroyed and the heads really easy to clean anyway, i use a cut up metal coat hanger, heat the now piece of thick metal wire and push it in the pipe pull it out clean it, and repeat process until clean.:thumbsup:

down rubbing alcohol? are you crazy? the buzz is hardly worth the blindness and horrible death

He didn't say rubbing alcohol. He said Hard Alcohol. I would assume cheap vodka would be good for this task.

heres how i do it:

pour salt into my chamber, my bowl and the place where i put my water for my bubbler. then i put it in a bag with rubbing alcohol, put that bag in a bigger ziplock bag and shake the shit out of it for a minute at least. then i pull it out, wash it off with water, get a cotton swab and finish up.

comes out like i just bought it from the headshop

If you clean your glass pipe after every use you won't ever need to use anything but soap and water.
