There's a lot of good bands today.

Most people aren't willing to search or take the patience to like them. They wait for the "next big thing." Seem like some wait for the record companies to come up with something, except record companies don't make music, musicians do :P

I could list 5 albums off my head that were released in the past year that are pretty damn good (or in the case of Grandaddy, a masterpiece)

thcbongman Reviewed by thcbongman on . i think original music is dying or ill the record companies just stick with the formula that works because it seems that the public is a lot easier fooled now into buying recycled shit. i don't know, there are good bands coming up but the general public doesn't seem to recognize true talent anymore... so whenever a record company does sign a different band, they rarely take off. don't get me wrong i don't hate all new music. theres talent out there (mars volta, Mason Jennings, ummm... newt gingrich's solo album) but not nearly Rating: 5
