i say apples work best, but if you're really desperate you can even take a peice of toilet paper soak it in water and wring it out mostly (til it's only moist) then throw it in with the bud, it'll do the same thing..

About 1 gram of lettuce to 10 of bud... the bud expands and grinds nicer in a elec coffee grinder... anyway I like rolling in that state and then pop it in the Microwave on auto defrost fur a couple minutes or in my pc...
