I NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHEN THE VEG STAGE STARTS AND HOW LONG THE LIGHT PERIOD IS .I HAVE BEEN 24/7THE PLANT IS ONLY 2 INCHES UNDER A 40WATT F40T12 PHILLIPS PLANT&AQURIUM LIGHT ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE.

To actually answer your question, nobody else has, vegetative stage starts when the plant reaches its maximum blades per leaf.This will take some weeks. Seedling stage BEGINS, when the second pair of leaves, the one's set opposite each other, show themselves, they are usually single blades.
