Assuming the land was at or slightly above sea level prior to destruction then it is impossible. Asteroids would not cause a mass of land to sink by 1200 ft. FACT!
You either need to believe or choose to believe, either way you are not doing a lot for your cause by making such illogical statements.

If an object was to indent the earth by 400 meters it would be so massive and dense that there would be a crater miles wide, a series of smaller hits could never achieve it.
The only logical explanation for such a difference would be an earthquake.
WRONG!!!!! The Bible says the Lord RAINED DOWN from heaven FIRE and BRIMSTONE! You're sayin' it's an EARTHQUAKE?! THAT would've occured AFTER the impact from a northern trajectory, just look at the Great Rift Valley where it gradually slides downward! An earthquake does not rain down fire from the sky UNLESS it's a volcano! The meteor shower obviously hit a faultline causin' the land to collapse downward as a result of an earthquake CAUSED by an asteroid impact,so you ACTUALLY have to consider BOTH to be a factor,NOT an earthquake alone! The Chesapeake Bay,Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean are all craters too,the Pacific one created the moon after Rahab's explosion between Mars and Jupiter! Most if not all of our meteor showers come from Rahab's remnants!
