Using a Screen

I have a little glass handpipe and someone recommended putting a screen in because the hits were so rough. I have never thought of it as being rough, but i was wondering how much of a difference a screen makes on the hit. Ive never smoked with a screen, is it healthier also?

I used to always smoke with a screen long ago, then I just stopped when I started smoking with different people. I didn't notice any difference, and now its a lot faster to pack bowls. You don't need them.

no if you dont need a screen in your pipe, thats a good thing cause metal screen suck and taste bhorrible and wont stay in glass pipes

the only time we use screens is if its broken up really fine or if its salvia to keep it from falling through, never heard of it effecting the hits or being any more/less healthy

you should burn a screen before using it, there are a chemicals on the screen from when it was made.
i always use a screen coz a smoke hash, sucking on a hot rock of hash is not fun

i only use it if wat im smoking is ground up or falling through the hole wen i take a hit

nahhh i only smoked with a screen was with a couple metals pipes a while ago. i belive there just there to stop the buds and ash dont come through, dont need them for glass.
