Did you create another account and go into the chat and ask me where you could find a keylogger cause someone came in and was asking me where to find one and I told him to find one that would be compatible with an email account so it would remotely send it?

I never heard of one that sends an email, but if you are going to have periodic access to this computer, just have the files saved to a secret file on the PC and once in a while dl em to a disk

I know this probably of no use whatsover but I did a google search of keyloggers free and got lots of sites.. I thought keyloggers were just those nasty things that stole your passwords etc.

the only reason i can think someone would need one of those that can be sent by e-mail is to hack someones account... funny, i know someone FROM HERE that that has happened to recently, something your not tellin us CC??

Oh and wouldnt it only work if someone was actually dumb enough to click a link in a fake spam mail??

me i'm not that stupid, if i get an e-mail from a site, i just go to the site by myself instead of clicking on the link, so whoever keeps sending me those kinds of e-mails... please stop, cuz theres no way in hell i will fall for that

Keyloggers are basically spyware, but they're not virus's and they're not illegal

basically you know on msn can get chat logs? its like that but more detailed, it tells you everything that a person types, what websites they go onto when they click the mouse button all theyre passwords even what time/date they did it etc

no they're not illegal, but hacking someones computer is, just thought i'd point that out. :thumbsup:

Some of the games I play, people get key logged all the time, in fact 99% of the time anyone loses their game details, they were keylogged. There are one's that quietly record all your activity and then send the information in the persons e-mail address to you, its crafty because it looks normal, the keylogger isn't using any ports in itself. With some failr extensive programming knowledge you can make a keylogger. Fundamentally they are pretty harmless, i.e check if your kid is chatting to a pervert, but they've been exploited to snatch bank details, login/id details, all sorts. I'm sure if you scout about you can find a few tutorials. Reason they are so popular is because they require basically no skill to use, actual hacking is an art.

My reason is personal, but its nothing illegal and if i did that to someone from here why would i start a thread asking where i can get keyloggers lol.

It is illegal to install a keylogger onto someone else's pc and monitor they're private affairs in all of North America.

But then again it's not exactly legal to grow and/or smoke weed huh?
