I'm going to continue to think that they are dead, until such time as someone presents verifiable conclusive evidence that they are alive. Which no one has. The working theory is that they are dead. Any real proof otherwise? No? Didn't think so.

I wouldn't call it proof. The U.S. government can't legally declare them dead. Common sense should dictate they they are dead, and it's a safe assumption until otherwise proven.

But in essence, what does it prove if some of them are alive? That the FBI fucked up identifying them? I wouldn't stretch it to say the government is lying about their identities to the people as conspiracy theorists use this argument.
