So traffic has seriously died off today...and I noticed that some replies from folks on Fri were comin in the afternoons instead of midday...

thats exactley what the hell i was wondering, it seems like we have the normal amount of members but the guest number is real looooow, i dont go back to college til next week , ill still be here tho

I know it varies across the country. My sister is in the South East and went back to school last week. Here in Texas, some schools started today and I think they ramp up through the week. Having come from New Jersey, I know they go back after Labor Day, unless it's changed.

School went back this month for the high schoolers here in Alberta.

So Calhoun, at work, you spend a lot of free time on here. May I ask, what do you do? because I think I'd be good at it too.

LOL...Project Management. The days are peaks and valleys. Sometimes I have alot of free time and other times, I can barely breeze.

What does a project manager do? Ya here in VA highschool start up after laborday weekend, but colleges here vary

Basically I investigate ideas that affect revenue coming into the company. The busy part is usually the beginning; investigation, phone calls, pulling together reports, presenting information, acquiring funding, implementing project. After that, it gets easier. Usually I just have to check my reports and make sure my project is going OK. Sometimes I overlap and may be working on multiple issues at once.

It's not too bad. Things are pretty lax. I work in TX, my boss is in MA. Most days I come into the office, but every so often, I just work from home.

I don't go back to highschool til mid september but hell we didn't get out till mid june.

Today was my first day of medical school. An amazing day. And I fear that I'll be seeing a lot less of everyone here on the boards nowadays. At least on weeknights my surfing time is now going to be scarce.

Tonight's agenda involves reading a total of 200 pages in various books, plus 5 pages of memorization of medical terms. And it'll be a lot like this every night.

School days! Gotta go study now!
