What's a subsitute for P?
[quote=xkamikaze9x]Not true. Urine is completely sterile leaving the body, so I'd imagine that pissing into a sterile specimen cup will ensure you're not going to introduce any pathogens to the plant. Can't comment on the effectiveness, but I can say you're not going risk infecting your plant using this method.
But urine does contain other compounds which may or may not be good for the plant: small proteins, creatine, etc
i am not saying that pee won't work , ofcourse it has N in it, i tell u what , next time u grow pee on one of ur plants instead of feeding it and i will bet my house that it doesn't grow as well as the rest . also how do u judge the ph and strength of ur urine . also bacteria and other nasty shit will grow in ur plantpot which will affect the growth of ur plant. as for bat droppings u'll find that these have been sterilized to kill any of the other bacteria and stuff that will do u or ur plants harm . now the point u made about urine being sterile as it leaves the body which is true but unless u have a sealed sterile container to put it in ,how do u keep it sterile??? are u going to boil it ???
i like most of u have done most of my research to online or from books and i have never heard many of the socalled experts advising to use urine instead of ferts.
anyway thats enuff from me on this subject and i guess the question has to be" to pee , or not to pee" . i guess i'll just keeping pissing in the toilet and use my ferts to get these kinda results
