sativa flowering time question.

I have a few questions, First off it seems alot of my outdoor ladies are sativa i have known this for a long time but now i am a little worried because of floweing taking so long. They have already started flowering for about a month now and the buds are growing in thick but they arent as big as id expect(they are about as thick as a typical beer bottle neck). I know it is typical of sativa to be taller and thinner than indica but will they be able to fully develop?

I am in Ontario, Canada and figure i still have till early-mid october till harvest. Last week the night temps were fairly cold and if this keeps up it may be a late sept harvest.
Night temps have gotten to around 15 c or 59f. Day temps are 24c-86c or 75f-86f. Sunrise is at 6:21 now and sunset is at 8:23. Id like to know with this info if it is going good. Also i have found info about sativa on the net but it seems every site has a little piece of information only, so maybe someone could tell me more about it? things like type of high/taste,characteristics,and anythigng else???

btw i tried a sampler off a lower part and wow is all i can say hairs are a transparent to thick purple and still many white it looks so cool to see purple and white hairs.

you have plenty of time...Sativa can take up to 12 weeks to finish...right now you are around 14 hours a day perfect.

I still would like some characteristics and other info though since i am new to growing sativa ive always stuck with indica strains but this time ended up with some sativa strains off a friend (forget what they were have it written down somewhere). I had a sample and from what i can tell the high lasted longer but i also felt more tired/burntout after.

Update after looking at the many different types of weed im almost 100% sure this is Neville's Haze with all the characteristics matching and look fit perfict.
Even the super high i experianced makes sense its not your average high quality shit its better.

MagicGrow. what exactly is Neville's haze...what is the make-up/background of this "Sativa"? What was breeded to what? Do you know?

Concerning making an informed choice when choosing Indica/Sativa, or hydrid? I want to start a thread, and hopefully we can all contribute and learn from it. I know I am not very well versed on this subject.

I think we all tend to start out with the belief that we will get a bigger buzz from Indica. (just an off hand thought) I think we get caught up in the term, "a more medicinal effect/painkiller"

I actually feel this turns into a more hypnotic effect.

Experiencing a more intense effect 1/2 way through a piece of confirmed "Sativa" has brought me to the conclusion, that until you experience the effects of different strains and phenols, It is hard to describe how you will be effected after a smoke test.
At least when you are choosing some beans for propagation...It is hard for you to truly know "what" you you are going to experience, if you harvest anything at all...LOL

I think the confusion comes from the limited knowledge of what makes whatup, what?
