Weed > Hard drugs?

Hello before i start,
I just wanted to say something about the way people that do not toke veiw us smokers with relation to going on to harder drugs.
I'm 22, i've been smoking weed since i was about 15 and i have never tried anything else, well booze. Not i might add, out of some fear or over devoloped sense of caution it is meerly that when i discovered weed it was a real "Leaf turner" Everything was easyer to deal with, i got my life sorted out to my satisfaction, my way of thinking consistent and my morals (yes i have morals) rock hard.
If i where to go out and get off my head on anything else coming home and having a spliff might just not be the event it is now.
I love weed, yes sometimes i stop smoking it but never for long and only so as i can enjoy it's benefits better with a little less tolerance.
The veiw from others as a stereotype that it leads to harder drugs and a life time of dependance and addiction is pure nonsense, but then i cannot speak for everyone. . .

ahmen. just becos people drink dont mean they will turn into an alcoholic.the idiots that do end up takin the hard drugs no what they r gettin into. they always tryin to get a hit like the first one they ever had,we all know that u never will get a hit like that again, sad people just like the people who say weed will turn into harder drugs, u people get a life and shut the fuck up!!!!

no i dont think weed leads to harder drugs at all, depends what you consider harder drugs however, I dont consider shrooms and lsd hard drugs. and I do like them

whatever your stance may be i dont think "HARD drugs" are all that bad(as people say they are)Granted alot of dope heads steal stuff, alot of crack heads do wierd UNEXPLAINABLE THINGS, this shouldn't ruin it for everyone ,because everyone is different. Alot of Drugs USED to be legal in our country and still legal in other countrys HOWEVER, Some drugs like free base cocaine(crack), PCP, and herion(cept morphine for real medical reasons) have no functioning part in our society and i DISLIKE those who dont even have an idea of what they are talking about when bad mouthing users or chemicals them selves.This is specially true for most(99.996%) of propganda and religious and govermental establishments..


in all my expierences i have meet drugs i liked and ones i don't. Doesnt mean im a scum or anything. I see the world in a very different way now and have respect for others and things that i would have never even cared about or even thought about accepting as my own IDEALS... my world has opened to a whole nother place.I do beleive some people should not have certain drugs cause every drug makes people feel differently then others. I dont think anyone should judge somebody by what they do unless it is DIRECTLY negative towards EVERYONE including that person HIM/HERSELF. IE smoking crack around your kids, stealing radios for 10$ of dope..Killing someone cause he/she looked at you funny. As for weed i dont even consider it a drug....Only reason i think of it as a drug isa cause our Country says it is and I am on probation
I agree the cannabis is alot safer then tabbaco and alcohol
btw ive been clean for Three months of everything N!cotine, alcohol,all drugs(prescriptions included),and most of all WEED...imp:

every individual is different ! not everyone will try other drugs just because they try weed. i know alot of people that have never done anything else but pot . and i do know people that have tried other hard drugs but like i said it is all on the individul and what that person is looking for when they get high.
if you tell your self not to do other drugs then you will not do them BUT IF you fall into temptation because of peer pressure then you will fall into other drugs but i honestly dont think marijuana is the cause for others doing harder drugs. it's all in the head!

I gave up the booze and took up the evil weed about 30 years ago and except for swapping a couple of small blunts for about $5 worth of speed one night, I haven't needed anything else. The quality is always middling to excellent as my state has a similar climate to California,ie, perfect for growing!!! Don't have too many sessions each day.

I dont think anyone should peer pressuer anyone especially htere friends into doing anything......

then again alot of people do it to be cool
which is stupid also..I think it takes a strong person to say NO.

don't forget, there's a difference between good and bad peer pressure, for instance a christian would pressure his friend (if he cared for him) to become a christian so he wouldn't go to hell...

pressuring someone to do coke obviously would be bad, however pressuring them to smoke herb would be good because it is good for both body and mind
