TIPS Dying 6weeks into 12/12
I have 6 plants in a closet grow. The tips of most the plants seem to be dying. Otherwise the plants seem fine buds are doing fine. Anyone know what may cause this besides heat. Temp in closet stays at 80 or less. We had electricity and AC go out once but only 8 hours. I vegged and started flowering with a 8-7-6 fert which I know is not good for flowering. I am using 5-30-5 now. Could the high N from the first fert do this to a flowering plant.
HELP.

I've only done 1 grow , 18 months ago or so, just moved and got a bigger place and a better cabinet.
What kind of light are you using? {edit} to cause a heat problem? I used a 400w and the heat was vented out a wall, have you got proper venting? Or are you using the A/C to cool the room? The plants obviously need fresh air.{edit}
My plants did this last time I grew, I was using a high N for most of the flowering, I noticed that the leaves went yellow, only the fan leaves though and mine went from bottom to top.
Anyways, to cut a long story short, only the large fan leaves were affected and at the end after the cure etc, all was fine.
Although if a more experienced grower would care to enlighten us both that would be great.
To sum up: My plants were fine when this happened. 4/4 had it and 4/4 lived till I cut them and 4/4 smoked and tasted ok

TIPS Dying 6weeks into 12/12
I am using 6X40w flo = 240w
I was going to add 2 12w incandecent about 1 foot from buds with a fan on them. I am lackin in venting. Still building it. Plants get plenty air in Light hours. They get plenth breeze during day. The light temp is OK with the fan on them. I was gonna use the two 120s just 4 2-4 hours. To be sure.
Thanks

Eh, forget the incandescents, 24 watts of incandescents isn't going to help your plant(s), although they will add some heat.
It's natural for the plants to suck the nutrients from themselves and look worse, as they approach the end of flowering. Looks to me like you'll be just fine. Just don't get impatient now, or start mucking about with nutes too much, or you could cause way more problems than you'd solve.

Nutes are a hard thing to control and even flushing a plant doesn't completely guarantee that its clean, easily causing overfert. I'd leave it and let em grow, like I said, I had this problem and mine were fine.

That plant looks healthy. Good work. Time to ease back on the nutes in preparation for harvest.

I actually have never grown cannabis, and since it is still stupidly illegal, I would NEVER EVER think of doing such a thing. All that I post here is complete fiction that I pulled out of my ass. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
