Why No Medical Marijuana?

So we all know that in California, along with other states, that cannabis is in a sort of grey are where it may be legal while at the same time illegal because of the fact that federal law overrides state law. Now we as the people and the government both know that it does indeed help people with glacouma, artheritas, naseu, along with many other things, otherwise the government wouldn't be supplying 6 people in the U.S. with pre-rolled joints every month! So then, for the rest of us with problems that could be cured by simply smoking or eating a plant, isn't it thought of as sick and twisted that the government clearly ignores us and lets us suffer!?? In my own opinion, I say the reason that they refuse to legalize medical marrijuana is because they relize that it would lead to complete legalization. People would be smoking it daily, every two hours, some for the rest of their lives. You know what would happen? Absolutely nothing! Nobody would come down with lung disease or brain damage or any of the things propoganda (wich isn't science) tells us. They would have to admit that they were wrong!:dance:

The government has a funny feeling about admitting it's made a mistake. For example: The Vietnam War. To admit that marijuana holds a medicinal value is to say that they've been wrong all of this time, which is something they're not willing to do.

but seroiusly, it's all a bunch of politics. so-and-so politician won't consider loosening marijuana laws because it "sends the wrong message to children". and I suppose fighting an unprecidented war in iraq shows the little kids how strong and noble this country really is? is it just me or does that sound like hypocritical bullshit? remember when donald rumsfeld said that it would take probably 6 months to win the iraq war? yeah, right. liars. all liars. i've said it once and i'll say it again--politicians are expert con men. kind of like lawyers.

"did you smoke marijuana?" he said "you bet i did--and i enjoyed it too!" why can't they all be like mayor bloomberg?

I say legalize the shit and tax it like cigarettes. While you're at it, pass a law prohibiting the process of adding unnecessary chemicals to both tobacco and cannabis.

i agree with you and graph 100%, but what kind of message do they think theyre sending to kids who's grandparents are dying of lung cancer becuase of legal ciggarettes and the families who brake apart because of alcoholics! not only are they expert con men, they are 100% hipocrits

Big Pharma has too much to lose. If you find an interesting study, send it to your doctor (anonymously if need be), he learned nothing about cannabis in med school!
