Tool
Tool is an amazing band. They are aleins when it comes to playing music. Their new album is SO off beat and is filled with irregular beats. VERY difficult to play if you're trying to learn. If you're a musician, you'll understand wehre I'm coming from.
Right in Two is one of my fav. songs on that record. I really enjoy Wings for Marie (pt.2). Listen to that song ripped. It has such a huge buildup that it just explodes and blows up. It starts off slow, low, momo-tone voice, then it increasingly gets louder, voices become louder, drums kick in louder, then 5min into the song it starts getting heavier, his voice is getting stronger, then, WHAM! It's a full on rocking out song.
Yeah, I love that CD, LOVE IT!

I disagree with the statement that says opiate and undertow were just a gateway to aenima and so on. I believe undertow and opiate have to do something with Paul D Amour. I heard a rumor that Justin Chancellor writes a lot of their music. But you have to appreciate every cd for what it is. Undertow and Opiate lean towards a alternative metal album where as the rest of them are pretty progressive.
P.S. I'm going to see tool Sep,26 at the Peterson Event Center in Pittsburgh. It's going to be SWEEEET!!!

Tool is great, but their fans take them too seriously.
I'm not really in love with their new CD, but its not bad.
Anyone here go to Warped this summer?

Plain and simple......
Tool kicks serious ass man. You'll never hear a band like that my friends. Bands like that only come around a few times in your lifetime.
I love the new CD, and Perfect Circle gives us just enough to keep us from not "Jonesing" so much waiting for another Tool CD.
I think the contract calls for one more Perfect Circle CD. It'll be interesting to see what they do next. I'm a huge fan. They are all simply great musicians but is that fucking drummer sick or what? Simply amazing. He plays like nobody I have ever heard.
Holla'

BTW has anyone else synced up track 3 + 11 and 4 together? i thought it was pretty cool. if you don't know what im talking about, just put splice track 11 after 3, then play that new track at the same time as track 4. oh, this is for 10,000 days
