I think the time will come when LEDs are the preferred way to grow plants. But I don't think that time is here quite yet. Give 'em another five years to boost output. Still, if you want to be on the forefront experimenting with LED grows now, more power to ya!

The key factor here being the electricity co wouldn't know anything was up at the very low wattage, at even 200 watts worth, these would be more than enough. They look like they could save some money over the long haul too, as they'd cost about $2.00 a month comaped to $30+ on the 1000+ watt systems. Just curious what the greenthumbs think about these.
