What about a shorter version of what you have--like a sort of general jawline-length bob? They could give you a few layers to give it some volume and blunt cut the ends. It'd be easy to take care of and still very girlish. That strikes me as a cut that'd be very becoming on you. You have such a feminine face that I don't think you'd ever have to worry about any sort of shorter hairstyle looking dykey. Bobs are good because you can just blow-dry and go or pull your hair back with a hairband when you don't have a lot of time, but there's still plenty of hair to curl and poof out (or use accessories in) when you want to go glam.

I always study hairstyle magazines before I go in for my appointments if I'm intending to change styles. Then I show my stylist what I have in mind and she sort of adapts it to fit me. You have such a pretty face that I'm sure whatever you do will look great!

well, Im sure there are those more talented than I who could do up some serious samples of various haircuts with photoshop but you get the general idea.
It might make it easier to decide.
And if you truly trust the majority opinion why not pick a few options, have someone photoshop em up and put it to a vote and get the cut that gets the most votes.
