The government would have also made sure that all the evidence was locked so that no one could see it to figure these things out. On a side note off the conspiracy bullshit subject, I'm speculating world events will pretty much signal the 'near' end of highjacking. Once upon a time highjacking was 'take me to Cuba!" and everyone cooperated hoping they might live through it.

Nowdays, I know if I were on a plane with a highjacker, the fight is ON! It would be me or him and I would be trying to whup his ass with a bag of peanuts in one hand and a barf bag in the other! ...because failure means certain death anyway.

Anyway, I believe there would be no more 'missions' unless the mission was no more complex than destroying the people on the plane, because everyone on board would know it was either fight or die.
