my friend doesnt get "horney"
and i guess it really bothers her. she's 16 years old, and she says sometimes she'll start to feel horney for like a minute or two.. but then no matter what shes doing, the feeling just goes away. i'm her best friend (besides her boyfriend) and she talks to me alot about this. I've told her that she probly will begin to get horney, and that part of her maybe just hasnt fully developed yet. Her boyfriend has told her that it doesnt matter to him, but it just really frustrates her. Does anyone hknow what might explain this? is what i've told her probly right?

Yes, you're right. Having a low sex drive at 16 years old is not something that she should be worried about. This is perfectly normal. She's too young - and she may feel insecure because of the extreme amount of sex in advertising and the media. Until the 20th century, many girls in the U.S. didn't have sex at all until marriage, which was usually over the age of 18, with a high percentage being over 20.

For cripe's sake, she's only sixteen years old! Not everybody develops their sexuality that young.
The average girl has not lost her virginity for a at year after 16. Guys are even older for this.
