Even if it evaporates, not all of the chemicals in there will, there will undoubtably be some residual chemicals that cannot, CANNOT, be healthy. Isopropyl Alcohol is legal, it's freaking rubbing alcohol. Just go to your local pharmacy or drugstore, hell most big-box stores probably carry it.

Also, I don't know what either nail polish remover and rubbing alcohol will do to finishes on wood pipes and the like. I have no idea if it starts to deteriorate or not, and don't want to find out by it happening to my pipe. Never endanger your paraphernalia if you can avoid it... treat it like your own flesh and blood.
Bauman Reviewed by Bauman on . cleaning a pipe? i have a very nice metal pipe that i bought at a festival but i have been using it for a while and its a wee bit dirty. how can i clean it? i have seen pipe cleaning fluids for sale but i wanna try to avoid the LONG trip into town to buy some, any suggesetions? i have heard alcohol will clean it but i dont have anything but vodka and i think that would work out as very expensive just to clean a pipe lol :D any help from you guys would be great Rating: 5
