My cats having her kittensHow're the new little sextuplets doing tonight, Yabtab? Everyone getting plenty of nourishment and nurturing, including the little guy? \"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

My cats having her kittensYeah, my last cat that had kittens--this was years ago when I was in college--moved her family three times within the first four days. Their instinct just tells them to move the little babies in case predators might be hot on their trail. We kept finding new little nests in places like the back of the laundry closet, the back corner of the kitchen pantry, etc. Finally when the kittens got more mobile and their eyes were fully open, she quit trying to relocate the whole family. Or else it finally clicked and she realized she was inside a house away from any predators or potential kitten-killing male cats. My cats having her kittensThis is her second litter she moved them around like that
last time she had kittens. She only had three on her first
litter I could tell she was going to have a lot more this
time cause she was bigger this time around. Here is a
pic of her first litter of three, two boys and one girl.
