exactly! because dogs create emotional responses in us, we connect more with them. they are useful/desirable to us alive.

because cows don't do the above they're dispensable. make a cow dance and catch a stick/ball, and i tell ya little kids will be yelling at their parents to get them one to stroke and cuddle and play with!

Tragically this is the selfish nature of existence on planet earth...it's a dog eat dog world...if you'll forgive the pun:rasta:

Officials clubbed many animals to death in the street right before their guardians' eyes, while others suffered gruesome deaths by poisoning or electrocution.
