I know the rumour mill isn't very nice but I do believe that it is perpetrated by a minority , I think the open and frank discussion of any subject should be allowed.
Bans and restrictions are the tools of opression , tyrants and dictators telling you exactly what you can think and say are not something I want in this world , this is because I believe that knowledge and understanding bring freedom from ignorance.

Whilst I can totally empathise with your contact, Aspinthion, I do have to agree to the various points already expressed.

I feel the internet is the last region where we truely have free speech. I don't believe that the internet should be censored at all. Sorry.

I agree - with mass propaganda steering our thought patterns, I feel that I can ONLY get an unbiased view from the internet.

what if somebody said something to offend someone, and that person then went and tried to get THIS forum banned? we wouldnt be happy, would we? and they would do it without actually knowin anythin about this site, only that it is about Cannabis and therefore must be bad.. i think maybe we're doing the same thing here.. just a thought guys, peace

And, obviously, the police/gov. agencies know of this site, and maybe keep a watchful eye on it for possible leads? Most criminals of this ilk (murderers and rapists) get great satisfaction from boasting about thier crimes.

Whilst my heart wants to join this crusuade, my head leans toward logic.
It's not fair, it's not nice - but surely they're only satisfying their own kind. We have a choice - we can abstain from such activities, and retain a clear conscience. Banning this site will not bring back those poor souls, nor will it prevent further atrocities - so why let it be a burden?
I feel truly sorry for this chap - but it begs the question: how did he find the site?

Not at all - it is your right based on your own beliefs and convictions, of which is admirable.
I nearly signed it based on those self-same beliefs, but I guess that when I read what others had to say, I had to step back and think a bit deeper about it.
