Earlier today I was contacted (via MSM) by a guy on the Marihemp board's called Herbicide, He has a petition going against a site which really doesn't seem fair on people, It's a site where people talk about real life murders and rapes all over the world in a chit chat form. He was deeply disturbed by this when he found people chating about his cousins brutal murder last January and inventing wild rumors about his cousins sister posting on the site.

So he asked me to give his petition a mention on here.

I'd like to gather everyone heres attention to bring foward something that is hidden from you, and I found it today, and I must say I am disgusted by it. Before I go on, I am no person for ranting at every little thing, and im not some person coming on a pot board to see if I can get potheads to sign a petition, I am a pothead that is bringing out a cause that we must all see and recognize, then destroy. This doesn't involve marijuana.. So if you don't want to help after reading that, don't read further and just leave this page.

Last January my cousin Travis James Lane was brutally murdered in Michigan, shot in the back of the head, decapitated, and had his hands cut off. My family was destroyed by this, my unlces first born child had been murdered at age 21. My uncle had such bad emotional problems with this, and it killed him inside, and I have felt nothing but sorrow for him, and wish for the best. He has stated time and time again that he doesn't want this all over the news and papers, because it hurts him too much to have it everywhere, and having it around so much sank him into depression, which is not fair. While looking for a specific page of evidence on the trial that sent the murderer to prison, I came upon some forums that had talked about my cousins murder. They portrayed it as another man was murdered and dismembered, but they treated it more like an average day conversation, like it was something to talk about. Like how we come here to talk Marijuana related, they talk about murders, and rapes that happen all over the world. I signed up for the site but wasnt allowed due to the rule against having a free email provider. So I ended up in a chat with the admin of the forums, and asked her to removes the thread containing my cousin, and she wouldn't comply. After an hour of arguing and bickering she still wouldn't take down the thread, and the reason why ill get to. Now I pleaded with her to get rid of it before my family saw how his murder was being discussed like a new movie is on a discussion board. It came to the point of kicking me out of the chat. Her reason for not taking it down was obvious, she clearly stated she didn't care about the family and how they would react if they knew the thread was there.

Most people don't realize it, and im glad I have found it before my family, because this website is used to take murders from all around the world and exploit them for forum activity. They took my cousins murder case, and it ended up with some people spreading rumors that my deceased cousins sister was posting on the forums, which is one of the most insulting things that they could do. This was too much for me, and I knew I could never let my family see it, and now im taking action, but wait, theres more. These forums users have admitted on many occasions of sharing missing person information and othe info, which not only is really dangerous, but also very illegal.

Well heres the point, I want you all to join me, as I move towards taking down Web Sleuths Crime Forums. Without the help of you all it can be hard to get the petition signed to have vBullet boards toremove the crime forums. It's really odd because I never thought id see that.

A lot of you want me to cut to the chase right now, and I want you to read this rant. Only we in big numbers can take down this media balloon that is exploiting any murdered person daily for their own personal pleasure, and the benefits. We must stop the injustice that is arousing like a plague, exploiting the deceased, and doing the most gruesome things anyone could do.

Im asking you to please sign my petition to have vBulletin take down Web Sleuths, for the better.

While I can't say that I have lost someone close to me, I could never ever take death so lightly, as to make chit chat about it. That is completely fucked up, in my opinion.

i just signed it, butive been thinking.. we dont actually know anything about this site, only what this one guy has said about it.. but, think about it, what if somebody said something to offend someone, and that person then went and tried to get THIS forum banned? we wouldnt be happy, would we? and they would do it without actually knowin anythin about this site, only that it is about Cannabis and therefore must be bad.. i think maybe we're doing the same thing here.. just a thought guys, peace

PS there is one forum on that site about a missin g family, which is followdd by "Please, help Law Enforcement find this missing family".. maybe this site isnt all bad?

I see what you mean ghost but only the man himself can answer that question. If I talk to him again I'll try and get him on here.

And as for the g family as with all forum's there are the goodun's and the badun's.

Sorry I declined to sign that petition. Although I do agree that it is a fucked up website and I am very sorry to hear your story, I feel the internet is the last region where we truely have free speech. I don't believe that the internet should be censored at all. Sorry.

as long as the 1st ammendment stands that site will not be barred from talking about murders. I've seen close friends shot down for no reason and I have been unfortunate enough to lose family to grizzly murders but if the information can be accessed by the public then people can talk about it and thats that.
