My mom just drank an entire bottle of wine in an hour

Well, mom has a good headache this morning. I don't know what time she stayed up boozing until, but I came up this morning and talked in a loud voice, "hey mom! How's IT GOING?!" She cringed.

They aren't alcoholics, my folks just like to have a good time. Hell, they're retired, so they deserve a good time.

I just hate it when she gets tipsy. She talks too much and it annoys the hell out of me.

Oh well, there's aanother bottle waiting for her in the rack for tonight.

I pretty much lived in a frat house from the ages of 7-13. Beer was ALWAYS in full supply (1 keg every week), my step-dad's friends were always over, and they were always drunk (same with my mom). My mom didn't know how to cook, so when she made dinner it was Mac N' Cheese and shit like that.

My mom started drinking heavily after my sister was born. She would just totally zone out of reality. I would look in the garbage before I left for school, and then check it when I came back. There were literally 16/24 cans everyday. When she bought alcohol, she started titling it "miscellaneous" in her checkbook so my step-dad wouldn't get mad at her. She's stupid because he found out anyway from the checking statements.

Eventually, when I was in 8th grade, she told me she was going to AA. Now she's fine and just smokes pot with me because we both agree that AA shouldn't be against pot because it's an all natural plant.

Oh the joys of alcohol. One day your mom will realize what she's doing. I NEVER in my life thought that my mom would stop. I was in fucking shock when she told me. It was a miracle.

...isn't that gross? My folks are visiting and mom just downed a bottle of Chianti in about an hour. She spilled the last glass all over the counter, red wine too! and now that that bottle is finished, she's moved onto drinking Captain Morgan.

I came up here just to get away from her talking. Plus my pizza won't be done for another 15minutes.

That reminds me of my mom.. exactly.
Last Xmas my bro and I went to the rents' house for dinner.. and to our great surprise mommy had already downed half the bottle of fucking Porto and was now drinking margaritas. She spilled her drinks about 3 times and kept fucking up at cooking (and she's an excellent cook). She's just too crazy sometimes.. I guess she passed this side of hers onto me as well..
