well, honestly i think u'd be better off keeping them where they are and fertilize ore condition the soil...if you must transplant give them a great deal of care...i'd dig about two feet out and three down and then put them into garbage bags to keep the soil together, then transport carefully allowing as lil damage as possible to the root system...be sure to water after transplanting for atleast three days and a transplant solution such as superthrive could produce results that show no shock from tranplanting...hope it helps

But my question is what if I want to move it to a differnt area. Don't get me wrong I don't want to kill it. But I want to dig it out of the ground and transport it to a differnt area. Would this be such a good idea? Thoe I don't want to hurt the roots. Is there anything you can wrap the roots in to carrey it? Rating: 5
