he charges $50 normally but it's a half hour drive each way.. and since I dont drive and don't know anyone else, I dont really have a choice. I could probably convince him to drop to the normal price though

So, I guess I will tell him to bring a scale then, if that's the only way

I usually find myself wanting some late at night while bored, plus I have to pay friends back.. sooo I can get a quarter of mids for $60 including a little gas money (pretty decent drive from his house to mine). I just need to know what a quarter looks like so I don't get ripped off, and should I ask him to bring a scale? And how do I tell if it really is mid-grade..
