I've been in Sa for a few months and have yet to venture out and find me sum kind friends. so if you're fun laidback and have the chronic I want to get to know ya. Yeah, that is bizarre. I saw your post on the local board last night, but today it has been moved. Strange. But at least you did get two replies in the politics forum.:thumbsup:

Did I read correctly that you are in San Antonio? I know that I've seen a couple of other people from that area on this local forum. Maybe you could try again on the Texas forum......and maybe the forum gremlins won't move it this time. Heck, you might end up in the sexuality or spirituality forum if you're not careful.

I hope you get to meet some good folks on here. I've met a few folks from here and everyone thus far has been good people.

What are ya doing in SA man?

I was raised there, if ya wanna hook up with the coolest people you need to go tubbin.

Go to Greene outside of New Braunsfels, thats in between SA and San Martin.

Down River Road you can find lots of places to rent tubes, take along an ice chest with some beer, rent 2 tubes with bottoms, one for you and one for the chest, you will need some rope to tie the tubes together, dont wanna lose yer chest.

Some old sneakers or in my case flip flops, lots of gravel on the bottom, and you will end up standing up eventually.

You can get 4-6 hour floats, maybe even an 8 hour float if the water is high enough.

The Guadelupe River is awesome.

You can also do the comal but lots of cops and resorts on that one, so the odds of hooch go way down.

I garrantee you will meet up with cool peeps willing to share some hooch on the Guadelupe.

Thats how I would go about it.
