Two simple questions.

Alright guys, this is a two part post.

First part.
I might need to be getting a physical for school this year. If you don't know what they do, they test your piss and blood, along with some other stuff. My question, does weed show up in these tests? The last time I smoked was last Sunday.

Second part.
This year is my first year of high school. I've been accepted into the talented and gifted program. I really don't want to mess this up, since its a very good oppurtunity. I often forget things ever since I started smoking weed. Also, my dad said that if he ever catches me again, my life is over, meaning no friends over, no leaving the house, and only school will matter.
Should I-
A. Smoke how I do now (mostly once a week) and party it up. Then maybe get into a nice college, and smoke more weed.
or
B. Focus on my classwork, smoke every once in a while, bi-monthly or just stop, and get accepted into a nice college, then blaze alot.

This is your first year of high school..? You are ALREADY thinking of college? Dude, i would highly doubt that they test for Marijuana. Unless you are going to a private school or something. I say, don't worry about it and smoke the ganja. :thumbsup:

I'm not exactly worrying about college at the moment, that wasn't the point of the question. This is about high school. And no, its not my school thats testing, its my doctor.

Hm.. your doctor eh? Then i would be a lil worried dude. They could detect marijuana in your pee and it could screw you. I'm not sure though. One way to get the stuff out of your system in a couple days is to drink LOTS of water and then piss it all out. Works like a charm.

They aren't going to test for drugs, it is just a simple physical to make sure you're healthy. Keep the grades in check, but don't quit smoking if you like it. Just do your best to school a top priority. The better you do in highschool, the easier college is.

to be honest i just graduated high school and smoking weed fucked it up. dont get me wrong i had great times but when i didnt smoke i made awsome grades and when i did i blew off all my classes. I regret a lot of it. as far as the physical it depends what kind. some times they just check for diseases and stuff like that but i wouldnt smoke until after u know for sure casue they can see seeds and stems in some peoples piss. word of advise if u do smoke just do it on the weekends and dont make it a daily thing. until u get a good paying job then just fuck it and say high

IMO, it's way too early to be smoking. This is a time to focus on developing the mind with education and learning. Leave the vices of the adult world in the adult world. Cannabis like any fun substabce will take on an too important of a role in your high school years. You may think it won't, and you may be right but in most cases it does. Anyway if cannabis does not screw it up for you, other people will. People that hate cannabis and have a very negative outlook on it. They will label and chastise you. Many doors of opportunity will be closed to your future because of them.

So just leave it alone until later.

buddy, its HIGH school for a reason. im in gifted, its really shit. Im nto joking, since youre in the minoroty, youre teachers and facilities arent as good as what the majority(academic) gets. also grade 9 and 10, dont really matter THAT much, as in universities arent going to look at them, what matters is 11 and 12.

so, if i were you...id get high at lunch, cause as long as you act somewhat casual, its prolly safer to be high at school than it is to be high anywhere else. I mean apart from the fact htat theres tonnes of authority figurs around you, youre out of the house for like 6 hours, well mroe than enough time to get high and come down completely before you gotta go home.

BUT

dont overdo it. Theres alot of deadbeats at my school who smoke ALLL the time. thats not cool, gotta do your school too! like some things arent even really real courses(you know the ones, the ones you can lack off on and still pull out an 80) and getting high for those doesnt really matter because you never do anything useful in those classes anyway.

use common sense im sure you can moderate yourself to make it all work together.

also im not gonna lie, i just gave some suboptimal advice, i know i shoudl be saying "work hard!" and "be sober in class!" but elts face it, we all know how boring high school is, and a vast majority of us smoked in high school.
