A little story:

He became so angry, that he forgot about the train and started planning.
He was DAMNED if he was going to allow these low lifes to ruin his life - what right have they to judge that which they know nothing about!
He was not strong enough to confront them head on, and so had to think of other ways to get through his misery.

He decided that school was important and that, even though he had no idea what to be when he left school, he would seriously knuckle down and do some serious learning - about anythinmg he could. Diversity, you see, is a good thing.

He decided to adopt a new persona in the 'real world' - a mixture of his real-self and the person he wished he could be - funny, witty, charming..but above all POLITE. Nothing annoys an arrogant asshole more than politeness, and you don't even have to be aggressive about it.

And then there are the dark times, which will never truly be banished from him, but are controllable due to his understanding of what they are.

He knew he would have to be subtle about his plans, because undue attention usually led to unwanted grief - better to remain demure, but smug

He never caught the train, but his life changed from then on.

Life is shit, and just when you think it can't get any shittier, it will...and does.

Your body is currently going through some major shit, at the moment - probably the most traumatic time since your birth. Your head gets messed up, and you see issues where there are none.
Being popular at school is not as important as you think, but it is cool to have friends. Don't try too hard to be liked - it won't work, believe.
Rather, just believe in who you are. See those around you for the fools that they are, and have a quiet smile to yourself at your observation of them - and don't let them pressure you into being anything other than wqho you are - it won't suit you.
Adopt an enigmatic air about you (but not aloof), and soon you'll find that people will come to you.
Pretty soon, you'll be able to support yourself and do what ever you want, but until then, you have to learn as much as you can, whilst it's still cheap.

Rule#1: Always talk to people as your intellectual equal, until such a time as they prove themselves to be otherwise (then adjust your address accordingly - but remain respectful)
Rule#2: Always be polite. ALWAYS.
Rule#3: Knowledge is power, and it impresses the fuck out of people - but don't be snooty about it - no one likes a braggart lol
Rule#4: Have a clear idea of what you want to say, BEFORE launching into a reply on an internet forum lmaoooo

I dunno, dude, I know where your head is at, I've been there - but only you can turn things around.
I'm going thru a bad patch at the mo too, but I'm DAMNED if I'm gonna let the low lifes ruin my life.

Life is like a corridor of rooms.
You are in a room. There is a door that leads from your current room (situation), but you have to find it. And obstacles block your path to the door.
These obstacles are experiences (some good, some bad) that will aid you in some way, once you find the door and enter the new room.
The new room may not be much better, sometimes it will be worse - but there's always an exit, and you're the only one who has the key to open it.
Sometimes, the new room will be like heaven and you'llnever want to leave....but here's the real bitch - once in a while, we are puished through a door whether we like it or not.....
It's at this point that all those experiences (good or bad) will help you to deal with this unexpected phenomena, and show an easier route to the next door.

Just know that there are people here that understand - it is something very precious, and should not be given up so easily...understanding is a scarce commodity these days, as you are well aware...ok?

wow that was a great post...if i only would have heard that about a year ago i would not have had to seen all that shit for myself, i use to be just like drink. like no friends, everyone made fun of me,parents fighting,parents hate me. but wow that was a great post and i hope anyone who even feels as i did or drink does reads it. im gonna smoke two just for you Res.
