Very small pale spots all over leaves. Help?

My plant has very small pale spots all over the leaves, more prominently at the bottom and much less noticeable at the top. I have given her fertilizer for a while now for every second day, its not helping much. I used rich organic soil mixed with some metromix, i figured it was a potassium deficiency but it hasn't helped. Now i figure its a salinity problem. Should I go ahead and foliar feed my plant and give that a try? I have not seen anything like this from any research I've done. I have no pictures. All I can say is that my plant looks like it has freckles(small ones) and its not affecting the growth of the plant too much, but I keep having to trim the bottom because all new growth comin from there is deformed, small, pale and freckled. It's slowly creepin up to the top of the plant. Anyone help?

hard to say without pics... have you checked for spider mites?

I have been fertilizing my plant alot for the past few weeks, and now the petioles are turning purple again and some of the top fan leaves are dark green. This is the way it was growing when it was fine. Just imagine the leaves on my plant looking like they have tiny microscopic yellow speks all over them. I thought it was dust because my room is really dusty but it would have done this since it began growing i suspect. I'll try foliar spraying my baby to see if my soil is lockin nutes up.

aha!!! I think I have found spider mites. I checked under the leaves and used a 10x microscope and saw tiny little things moving. They are black dots. Now, I have recipes to make some insecticide with garlic and soap, or I can go with an organic pesticide. Do ladybugs eat mites, doesnt say in my book.

yes ladybugs eat mites but they won't wipe out an infestation. If they lay eggs it is cool to watch the black and yellow striped, dragon like larva crawl around, but if you want them GONE (and you do, fast) use neem seed oil, or look into the pest strips I hear about on another post.

i too had spider mites, a lot of them
i went straight to a friends local greenhouse and got 1cc of aviod mixed with 3 gollons of water, sprayed it all over my 15 big ones and that was it.
No signs of those little devils in 8 weeks.

Even the clones seem to be avoiding the little devils

i think i have this same problem and the yellow spots form little holes in the leaves, i cant really see any of the mites only 1 or 2 little black dots which wernt moving so i just got them off. my plant is only young so i dont think theres anything i can do about it

Smash them, if they smear dark green you know you have em.

Too young? No way it is easier to get rid of mites on young plants because there is simply less plant for them to hide on.

Hey guys, I got some safer's organic pesticide and sprayed my entire plant with it. They are still on my plant but they ain't movin no more. I've been checkin random leaves to see if i can spot them, they are still there but not moving so they are DEAD. I cleaned the walls off with some soap and my dad gave me some phosphate free soap that he used to use back in the 60's to get rid of pests on his farm.
