here's a horror story for ya. one of my friends brought this kid over who he said was a good friend of his back home(we were at college). apparently the kid had never smoked weed before and wanted to try it. of course we obliged we a blunt session. one of my friends, who is very much a certifible smartass, turns to this kid when he gets the blunt for the first time and demonstrates how to double hit it on his first one. the kid rips the ever-living piss out of this rather large blunt and of course starts coughin his brains out. he runs upstairs to get a glass of water. this is where it gets good. not 2 minutes later, my roommate comes down to tell us that "your friend is freaking out".

we get upstairs and this kid is lying half in and half out of the front door on his back screaming for help. we tried to get him up to get the front door closed but apparently he was so scared he couldn't move. i eventually had to grab him by the belt and haul him back inside. all the while he's screamin that he cant breath (although it certainly seemed like he wasn't having any trouble), to call his mom, to call 911, etc. finally we decide to just take him to the hospital. i had to carry him to my car because he was literally that paralized with fear.

after about 8 hours of waiting in the ER (this all happened around 1am) he comes out and says that the doc told him he had had an allergic reaction to the artificial flavoring in the blunt. :what: that his lungs had become minorly inflammed and that he wasn't ever in any real danger. the end.

i really thought i might be the person to witness the first death due to weed the way this kid was acting. it's funny now, but when it happened it was alittle scary. there still to this day has never been a bigger buzz kill.

I've gotten quite a few of my friends high for the first time but Ben stands out the most. My dad was out of town and a group of friends would come over before walking to church down the road from my house. Ben comes over and i talk him into smoking with me (which wasnt hard). i used some rigged up bong that got us toasted casue it hit like a son of a bitch. he goes through the typical im high, blak blah, laughy laughy, i need munchies routine. I tell him to get some food in the house and when i come in ALL of the cabinets in my kitchen are open and the guy is pouring sugar and honey in his mouth. I tell him to stop acting like a D- bag but he was seriously that high. This kid ate like 3 cups of sugar a box of cereal and thing of honey in probab ly ten minutes then walked to church and threw it all up. Im laughing my ass of just thinking about it now..

my brother told me that he had smoked weed like a bunch before, and i believed him..so i was like, aight why not. we smoked like 3 bowls, and i was high, and i was like "you aight little man?" and he goes "my face can feel anything, like my hands, they look like theres a million little hairs, and you should smell my feet..." and he just kept going on about how he felt and he couldnt stop touching himself. then i was like hey little brotha, lets head inside...and he goes alright. let me just sit here for a minute and enjoy the grass... and then he laid down in the grass for like 3 hours and fell asleep out there. turns out, it was his first time.

The only person that I've gotten high for their first time was one of my best friend's brothers.

We were on a ski trip (see the craziest mission for buds thread) and i was in a room with my friend Bobby. Bobby and I had gotten high a couple times that day, and his younger brother Charlie was hanging around with us. He's cool shit, and I knew that he wanted to try smoking. So after Bobby and I were out on the slopes for a while, I got cold and decided to come in, Bobby said he'd be inside in a little while. Charlie was inside and he knew we had been smoking. So he asked if he could smoke with me. I couldn't say no.

We put the bolt lock on the door, and packed the bowl. We smoked the bowl blowing the hits out the window. Literally as soon as I had put the bowl back in my pocket, someone knocks on the door. I sprayed some Tag in the room, so that it wouldn't smell (I thought it was our other roomate Max, who is totally against smoking). I opened the door, and in came Bobby. He took one look at me, looked at his brother, looked back at me, and went "NOOOOO! YOU DIDN'T, DID YOU?!"

haha, he was mad for a little while, but then i convinced him it was no big deal, and the three of us enjoyed a couple more bowls.

At a music camp I was at this summer, I convinced a really conservative christian friend of mine to smoke after regaling him with fun stories about being stoned and dispelling all of the myths he had ever heard about pot.

At this camp (in colorado), eleven of us guys lived in a big house... it was a dorm for all intents and purposes, but had a large kitchen and living area. Anyway, the cool thing about this "dorm" was that it was built into the side of a mountain! So if you opened the back door to a storage room, it literally opened up into a cave, probably 12 feet deep and ran the whole length of the house. The far side of the cave wall was sheer rock and had the most amazing patterns and colors. It was the perfect place to smoke. There was one hanging light and an old tree stump where we would set our homemade bongs and pipes.

I had procured some really good weed from a local dealer and my guess was that it was a haze variety, since it looked like every haze I've seen and had a very powerful sativa high. Perfect for a first time smoker A bunch of us met in the "upstairs" area of the cave (since the second floor of the house also opened up to the cave and had a raised wooden deck where we stood) and I got out my homemade steamroller, crafted from a paper towel tube and a tinfoil screen. This thing hits pretty hard, and my first-time friend, since he is a singer, had no problem inhaling about 8 huge hits, coughing his ass off after each one. Everyone was SO STONED and happy after this session, and my friend claimed he wasn't. Yeah, right.

He stumbles into my friend's room a few minutes later and collapses on the floor, laughing his ass off for like 5 minutes straight. It really must have hit him hard. Later on we walked downtown and he was being ridiculous, laughing and stumbling and claiming it was more work to NOT smile. Yeah, he got really stoned that night

I've never smoked anyone out for the very first time, but I guess this counts in a way...

I stayed with my aunt and uncle in Portland, Oregon for about a week during the winter vacation last year. Of course, I brought some weed with me-- Thunderfuck I think. Oregon is an awesome place to get stoned, btw. Just a very relaxed and beautiful place. Anyway, one night when I was coming back I caught my little cousin who was I think 15 or 16, smoking out of a little pipe in an alley near their condo. He was freaked at first when I walked up on him, cuz most of the people in our family are really straight edge. He was begging me not to tell his parents but I told him to calm down and that I smoke too, and to pass that shit! But then... when I took a hit I realized that my cousin smoked total ass weed. I asked to look at his buds and it was the nastiest weed I've ever seen. I remember it wasn't even green, that shit was almost brown. I was like OH HELL NO, not in my family, hahaha! I laughed at his ass and called him a newb, and I told him I'd let him smoke some of my stash.

I went inside and told his parents that I was gonna be taking him out to get a drink and that we wouldn't be back too late etc. I went upstairs, rolled a blunt in the bathroom and we ended up walking to a park a few miles away. While we were walking I found out that he'd only been smoking about a month and that he and his buddy had only one connect at his school who was selling him that shit weed for something like $30 an 1/8! I couldn't believe how badly he was being ripped for such shit weed, but at the same time I was getting excited cuz I knew the weed I had was gonna blow him away.

We got to the park and I sparked it up, and spent a little time instructing him how to hit the blunt cuz he'd never tried it and didn't smoke cigarettes. Man, he got SO high. He was saying stuff like he felt like his mind was floating out of his head and that with every puff he took it was getting farther and farther away, hahahaha. We stayed at the park for over an hour smoking that blunt little by little, just talking about family and stuff, it was a great chance for me to actually connect with my cousin cuz I rarely see him and we have about 7 years between us. I just talked to him recently and he says he still smokes when he can and he has better connects now, so I feel proud, almost like a good big brother. Hahahaha.
